From the moment you first set foot at University College, you join our vibrant community of students, staff, alumni and friends. This does not change after you leave. Our alumni and friends are an integral part of the College community, helping to inspire our students and continuing to drive and shape the future of Castle.

Our motto, Non nobis solum (“Not for ourselves alone”), is as true for our community of friends and alumni as it is for our students and staff. There are many of ways of staying connected after you leave – attending College events, offering career advice and support for our students, volunteering in leadership roles and providing philanthropic support which enables us to give back to our learning community and helps preserve the fabric of our Durham Castle home.
